Utilising the latest in medical aesthetics, this innovative treatment leverages your body’s natural healing powers to deliver astonishing results.

Why PRP Facelift?

The PRP Facelift stands out in the realm of cosmetic procedures for several compelling reasons. The regenerative capabilities of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from your own blood not only provides immediate improvement in the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines but also stimulates your body's own collagen production for long-term skin rejuvenation. It's a holistic approach that respects the natural contours of your face, offering a more natural and lasting solution compared to traditional methods.

FAQ

Let's explore some common questions about Hairloss treatments.

The PRP Facelift is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that uses your own plasma (PRP) derived from your own blood. Unlike a traditional facelift, which involves surgery, the PRP Facelift offers rejuvenation by enhancing facial volume, texture, and tone through natural and minimally invasive means.

Most clients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure. A topical anesthetic is applied to the treatment area to minimise any pain. The sensation is often described as a mild prickling or a warm feeling.

Results can be seen immediately after the treatment, with continued improvement over the following weeks as collagen production is stimulated. The effects typically last up to 2 years, varying from person to person.

The PRP Facelift is generally safe with minimal side effects, as it uses substances derived from your own body. Some common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites. Serious complications are rare.

Ideal candidates are individuals seeking to improve skin texture, tone, and volume without undergoing surgery. It’s suitable for those with signs of ageing, such as wrinkles and sagging skin, or anyone wanting a more youthful appearance.

Yes, the PRP Facelift can be combined with other treatments for enhanced results. It's important to consult with your aesthetician or dermatologist to determine the best treatment plan for your needs.

Post-Treatment Care Guide

Congratulations on your PRP Facelift! To ensure the best results and a speedy recovery, please follow these post-treatment care guidelines.

Post-Treatment Care Instructions

  • Avoid touching or scratching: It's important to resist the urge to touch or scratch the treated area, as this can exacerbate redness and irritation.
  • Apply a cold compress: To reduce redness and soothe any inflammation, gently apply a cold compress to the treated area for around 10–15 minutes at a time. This can help calm the skin and minimise any discomfort.
  • Taking medications: Avoid taking anti-inflammatory medication unless absolutely necessary. You may take paracetamol if needed.
  • Use a gentle cleanser: Cleanse the treated area with a gentle, non-abrasive cleanser, e.g., Cetaphil. Avoid products with harsh ingredients or exfoliants, as they can further irritate the skin.
  • Moisturise regularly: Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturiser to the treated area at least twice a day. This can help keep the skin hydrated and promote healing.
  • Avoid irritants: Avoid using products that could potentially irritate the skin for 5 days, such as harsh soaps, alcohol-based toners, or other skincare products with strong active ingredients. Opt for gentle, non-irritating formulations instead.
  • Protect from the sun & Saunas: Sun exposure can worsen redness and pigmentation issues, so it's crucial to protect your skin after a vampire facelift. Apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 regularly, stay clear from saunas and chlorinated swimming pools for 2 days.
  • Stay hydrated: Drinking enough water can help maintain skin hydration and support the healing process. Aim for at least eight glasses of water per day.
  • Avoid makeup and cosmetics: It's best to avoid wearing makeup 24 hrs. or using any other skincare products on the treated area until the redness and rashes subside. This allows the skin to recover without further irritation.

Remember, following these instructions is crucial for your skin's health and the effectiveness of the treatment. If you have any concerns or questions, Jay’s Medispa is always here to support your post-treatment.
